- The total term of employment with SA Health will be 3 years. Rotations following the initial 12 months Advanced Trainee Paediatric Infectious Disease will be determined in line with your training and SA Health's requirements. This may include transfer to other SA Health locations to perform work appropriate to classification, skills and capabilities.

**About the Opportunity**

We currently have an exciting opportunity to join the **Microbiology Infectious Diseases team**as an** Advanced Trainee,**where you will be responsible for:

- Participating in the Infectious Diseases training program with the goal of obtaining FRACP
- Providing diagnostic and clinical Infectious Diseases services to inpatients and outpatients under appropriate supervision
- Contributing to undergraduate and postgraduate medical education through teaching, case reviews, and personal study
- Engaging in research and development activities within the Infectious Diseases Unit

**About You**

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Bachelor of Medicine; Bachelor of Surgery (BMBS) or equivalent,
- Registrable with the Medical Board of Australia as a Medical Practitioner with General Registration
- Satisfactorily completed RACP Basic Paediatric Training requirements and progressed to Advanced Trainee
- Ability to work effectively with clients and staff
- High level of written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
