**Skills and certificates we're looking for**:
NDIS Worker Screening Check

Working With Children Check (Employee)

First Aid Certificate, including CPR

Basic Computer and Technology Knowledge (including mobile apps)

Certificate III in Home and Community Care, Aged Care, Individual Support, Disability, Mental Health - this is an essential requirement

Industry experience in Australia, or personal lived experience

Current Full Driver's Licence

Reliable Vehicle

Full Comprehensive Car Insurance

NDIS Modules

A smartphone that has access to the internet and the ability to download rostering app

**Tasks & Responsibilities**

Where required, assist individuals to undertake a range of activities of daily living including personal and self-care, mealtime support and maintenance of personal hygiene, using the principles of active support.

Assist participants to use their preferred method of communication and support them to be understood, listened to and responded to at all times, both at home and in the community.

Work effectively with people who have physical needs, implementing manual handling, assessments and support plans as required and in keeping with policy and procedures.

Maintain documentation, records and data collection as required and in accordance with the relevant legislation, policies and procedures.

Interact and communicate with other team members in the interests of service users and of achieving a consistent approach to service provision.

Must be able to work alternate weekends (Award Penalty Rates apply)

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $25.41 - $46.35 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 20 per week
