**Our client** is a 'household name' that has enjoyed significant growth prior to and during the pandemic. Now settling into a "new normal" level of business there are strategic growth opportunities to take advantage of backed by new PE owners.

Reporting to the Divisional MD and Group CFO, this key leadership role provides commercial support across major projects and ongoing contract management. Working with a small team you will drive the financial performance of the division, design and execute business strategies, manage and improve internal processes and identify and mitigate risks and contingencies to deliver profit growth.

This is an exciting opportunity for a high-caliber commercial finance executive to business partner with the GM and Exec team to drive results.

Responsibilities will include:

- Overseeing the accurate and timely production of divisional budgets, forecasts, financial planning, management and financial reporting
- Development of KPI's and financial data to evaluate and drive performance decisions
- Working closely with the MD and senior leadership team to develop and implement strategies to maintain sustainable sales growth
- Provision of strong cash flow management
- Embedding a high-performance, business-focused team culture that embraces collaborative and open communication
- Proven experience at Commercial Director or FD level; preferably in a multi-site professional services, project or contract management business
- The ability to provide strong leadership that is influential and collaborative in style - able to make significant strategic decisions and implement them
- Experience of driving change and improving financial reporting and controls to support business growth
- Able to operate effectively within a division whilst managing and meeting group requirements
- Demonstrable experience of achieving profit improvement
- Operationally focused, hands-on team player
