**About the Centre**

Casey RACE is a Centre for everyone. One Melbourne’s best Health & Wellness facilities, Casey RACE includes a 50m swimming pool, leisure/program pool, toddler pool, 2 waterslides, warm water pool, spa/sauna/steam room, a fully equipped health club area, extensive group fitness timetable, and programs that cater to a diverse community including swimming lessons. The Centre is an important community facility managed and operated by the YMCA on behalf of the City of Casey.

**About the role**

As a Cleaner at Casey RACE, you will be responsible for maintaining a high level of cleanliness throughout the centre and ensuring that the centre is presented in a professional manner. This will involve carrying out all duties involved in the general upkeep of the facility.

The Centre operations over a range of hours with the Cleaner being available to work over a range of hours including mornings, nights and weekends. Responsibilities will include:

- Ensure the centre is clean, safe, maintained and well presented at all times and complete checklists as required
- Report to relevant area supervisors on any issues that arise on your shift
- Basic understanding of the operations, programs and services of the centre
- Daily cleaning duties for the entire centre including the setting up and packing away of equipment
- Carry out emergency and spot cleaning as required
- Ensure equipment is safely used and doesn’t present a hazard to the general public, where appropriate use advisory signage and cordon off areas

**Essential Qualifications**
- First Aid Certificate.
- CPR Certificate.
