**The role**:
An exciting opportunity exists for a Water Resource Officer to join our Water Modelling team, providing the business with timely insights and advice on the Snowy Scheme's water resources to maximise business outcomes through the optimisation of physical, commercial and regulatory constraints.

**Your key responsibilities in this role will include**:

- Operational simulation modelling and insights
- Quality control and assurance of input and output data
- Provide strategic direction for development of the hydrometric network

**We're looking for someone with**:

- Relevant tertiary qualifications eg. B. Engineering, Science, Environment
- Exposure to water engineering including applied hydrology and hydraulic engineering
- An understanding of hydro power operational, hydrological and meteorological processes.
- Understanding of water modelling practices with demonstrated programing skills an advantage
- Demonstrated ability to build relationships with key stakeholders
- Strong communication skills, verbal and written
- Exposure to project management would be an advantage but not essential
