**About the Role**

As an Associate Director - Digital, Data and Technology, you will work across both the Digital, Data & Analytics and Technology & Enterprise Operations Divisions, executing on the communications plan to drive gains in reputation and colleague engagement aligned with NAB’s strategy.

**What you'll be doing**
- Your key accountabilities will include but not be limited to:_
- Support the planning, advice and execution of an integrated communications strategy to build awareness and endorsement about how NAB is using digital, data and analytics, and technology to deliver leading customer and colleague outcomes.
- Drive a proactive, integrated external agenda, including media, social media and relevant trade media.
- External communications: plan and execute proactive campaigns with a specific focus on NAB’s digital, data, technology and innovation strategies that demonstrate delivery of NAB’s strategic ambition - including reach across targeted and appropriate audiences.
- Innovative communications and story-telling across new, social and traditional media that are delivered in the appropriate style of language and channel for the target audiences.
- Support issues management, including regularly looking for ways to build trust in NAB, aligned with NAB’s strategic ambition and why we are here.
- Work in collaboration with colleagues across Corporate Affairs and the Digital Data & Analytics and Technology and Enterprise Operations divisions, including the Change and Operational Communications team, to ensure consistent alignment of NAB’s messaging and communications activity.
- Bring the outside in, by helping to drive business decisions that will build trust and drive change for the benefit of customers, communities and NAB, and by pursuing new, innovative, creative and effective communications approaches.

**What you'll bring**

To succeed in this role, you will bring professional experience working in a similar senior Communications role coupled with unwavering drive and motivation to succeed in a fast paced, and at times ambiguous and complex environment and have:

- Proven exceptional experience in Communications/Media and Public Relations/Employee Engagement
- Demonstrated communications planning and execution skills in one or more of the following categories:

- Media and public relations including the development and execution of campaigns and activities that achieve positive media coverage and engagement.
- Digital and social media content skills
- Measurement skills (across media, digital or employee), including how measurement can inform strategy, planning and execution.
- Demonstrate experience as a trusted advisor who influences outcomes with senior to mid-tier executives/stakeholders and/or mitigates issues to achieve communications objectives.
- Tertiary qualifications in Communications or related field preferred.
