**About the role**

This diverse and interesting role supports young people and their families in our Reconnect Program experiencing complex challenges such as offending behaviour, mental health concerns, family conflict, school disengagement and a risk of homelessness.

Maintain an active caseload and provide one to one interventions and/or group activities based on service user needs and goals through intensive therapeutic interventions in line with Trauma Informed Practice Principles. You’ll participate in and support ongoing quality and practice improvement, participate in and lead community forums, reference groups and projects and maintain networks with relevant stakeholders.

**About you**

You’ll have a drive to support young people and their families using an evidence based, person centred approach. You’ll have experience and knowledge working with diverse cultures and communities and have strong relationship building skills to develop or maintain networks.

In addition, you will also possess:

- Tertiary degree qualifications within the Community Services Sector are preferred but not required
- Experience working with youth and families who are at risk or are presenting complex issues
- Ability to communicate effectively in complex and escalated situations
- Solid administrative, record and case management documentation skills
- Ability to be innovative, flexible and work autonomously where required
- Drivers Licence
- Working with Children Check
- National Police Clearance (obtained within the last six months)
