**Job Summary**

Join our dynamic team at JAM Enterprises, a leading boutique grocer currently recruiting across our Sydney stores, committed to providing quality products and exceptional service. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a skilled and driven Retail Manager to organise and control our operations. The Retail Manager is responsible for overseeing daily store operations, managing staff performance, maintaining inventory levels, and ensuring exceptional customer experience.

**Responsibilities & Tasks**:

- Overseeing the daily operations of our boutique grocery store, ensuring smooth workflows, efficient processes, and a welcoming, community-focused shopping environment
- Recruiting, training, and supervising team members to deliver knowledgeable, friendly, and consistent customer service aligned with our values
- Planning and managing stock levels and supplier orders to ensure a well-curated range of fresh, organic, and sustainable products, while minimising waste
- Monitoring sales performance and implementing strategies to meet sales targets, improve customer engagement, and support long-term business growth
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and safety across the store in line with health and food handling regulations
- Executing seasonal campaigns, local promotions, and in-store merchandising to increase foot traffic and enhance the customer experience
- Addressing customer inquiries, feedback, and concerns promptly and professionally, fostering strong relationships with our loyal customer base
- Ensuring compliance with company policies, ethical sourcing standards, and all relevant retail and food industry regulations

**Qualifications & Skills**
- AQF Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma or Diploma - relevant qualifications at a minimum Diploma level or at least 3 years of relevant experience in lieu
- In addition to qualifications, 1 year of work experience is required
- Proven experience in retail management or supervisory role
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Solid understanding of sales principles and inventory control
- Ability to analyse data and make informed business decisions

The salary for the role is $70,000 - $80,000 + Super

Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
