**About the role**

As a
**Customer Service Officer, **you will be responsible to meet Elgas’ business plan strategies whilst ensuring maximum customer satisfaction. Be the main point of contact with customers both residential and commercial. You will
***
**attend to all customer queries, open accounts for new customers, process LPG Orders, customer payments, deliveries, and input manual sales docket**
**s. **You will also ensure that all orders are passed on to transport for timely delivery and that all administration functions are carried out efficiently.

**Your duties will include**:

- Top-class Customer service and engagement
- Engaging with suppliers, processing creditor invoices, scheduling changes, stock level records, and appliance stocktakes.
- Assist other functions within your branch, including monitoring and reporting to your manager on market and competitor activity, sales leads, and feedback on marketing activities.
- Follow all Branch Standard Operating Procedures and comply with all responsibilities under the Delegation of Authority (DOA) guidelines.
- Participation in relevant training and performance management as directed by Management.
- Adherence to Company policies including but not limited to; Health and Safety, Drug and Alcohol Policy and maintaining a safe working environment

**To succeed in this role, you will need**:

- Previous customer service and administrative/clerical experience
- High level of verbal and written communication
- Able to liaise and consult with internal and external clients and staff with a focus on customer service
- Able to prioritize tasks and work to deadlines
- Sound computing skills, particularly accurate data entry
- Demonstrated initiative and organizational skills with ample resilience.
