We have an exciting opportunity for a highly experienced Human Resources Manager to support our Drilling Services business, reporting to the global drilling services HR Director. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in working at an operational level and will see you working on a diverse range of HR generalist tasks across the APAC region.
This position will require a strong ability to combine strategic guidance to the Regional Management team, as well as hands-on HR duties, in a business focused HR philosophy. As a Business Partner to the Drilling Services Operations Team, you will provide key support on a range of matters including employee relations, industrial relations, performance management, compensation and benefits, organisational effectiveness and culture, ensuring compliance with global standards and policies and consideration of the regional specificities
**Key Responsibilities include**:
- Rolling out the global HR strategy in the region, aligning business needs and company standards,- Partner with Operations regarding all matters of ER/IR, compliance and disciplinary actions. Oversee, interpret, and administer company policies, workplace procedures, and government regulations in the respective countries.- Provide guidance, direction and leadership as required to resolve people issues; including leading effective, thorough, and objective investigations,- Provide support and implementation of functional projects and initiatives, with a focus on process efficiencies and effectiveness,- Build and maintain operational metrics for headcount, attrition, labour costs, and other projects, as required,- Manage and coordinate annual evaluation and wage increase process,- Manage and coordinate annual performance management processes,- Ensure the Company values of integrity, health and safety, sustainability, customer focus and teamwork and diversity are at the forefront of business operations,- Champion and implement EDI and respectful workplace initiatives,- Provide guidance and input on division structure, workforce planning and succession planning.- Maintain an in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks, and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partner with the legal department as needed/required,- Assist and support in the delivery and implementation of HR initiatives across the region,- Drive global HR projects for the Drilling Services Division**Experience, Skills and Qualifications**:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related discipline,- Minimum 5 years business operations experience in a human resources management role,- Experience in large, matrix organisations,- Experience in the mining industry or related heavy industry is highly advantageous,- Strong analytical and project management skills with ability to handle multiple projects concurrently,- Aptitude for solving problems,- Ideally experience working with enterprise agreements,- Excellent communication skills - written and verbal, analytical thinking and attention to detail,- Strong Microsoft Suite Application proficiency- Sound knowledge of EHS systems and legislation,- Effective interpersonal and influencing skills,-
