Our ConsMin Australian operation (Woodie Woodie) is based in the WA Pilbara, 407kms south-east of Port Hedland. **Description**:
We are currently seeking a skilled Team Leader to oversee the daily activities for the Load & Haul team. Reporting to the Supervisor Load and Haul, your key responsibilities would be:
Drive team performance by setting clear KPIs, providing training and development opportunities and implementing succession plans.
Oversee and/or operate a world-class Load & Haul fleet, including Cat 6020B & EX3600 Excavators, Cat 992K Loaders, 16M & 18M Graders, D10T, D11 & 854K Dozers, 777/G & 789 Dump Trucks, and 777F Water Carts.
Proactively identify and address potential roadblocks with daily contingency planning to keep operations on track.
Maintain effective communication with other department personnel in order to meet production targets.
**Skills and Experiences**:
**Requirements to be successful in this role are**:
Extensive hands-on experience as an All-Round Operator in open-pit mining, with confidence operating the full range of equipment listed above.
A solid background in leading teams within a mining production environment, with a focus on performance and safety.
A strong commitment to following health, safety and environment policies and procedures.
Competent with computers and familiar with the Microsoft Office suite—comfortable using digital tools to support daily operations.
A minimum of a Driver’s License is required.
