**Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**
- Undertake industry engagement about current welding processes and methodologies.
- Perform education to potential industry participants about various aspects including, welding, coatings in various materials.
- Perform comprehensive inspections of welds and associated components.
- Identify and document welding defects, ensuring compliance with standards.
- Provide detailed inspection reports with corrective action recommendations.
- Assist clients in developing and qualifying weld procedures.
- Oversee welder qualification processes and monitor compliance.
- Implement and maintain quality assurance programs for welding processes.
- Monitor and verify the effectiveness of quality control measures.
- Collaborate with clients to establish and achieve project quality objectives.
- Provide expert technical advice on welding inspection, procedures, and quality.
- Offer guidance on material selection, welding techniques, and compliance.
- Maintain accurate records of testing, inspection, and research findings.
- Prepare comprehensive reports documenting results and recommendations.
- Conduct training sessions for welders and other personnel on welding techniques, safety procedures, and quality assurance practices.
**Qualifications**
- International Welding Specialist - International Institute of Welding (IIW)
- CSWIP - Plastic Welder & Visual Plastic Welding Inspector
- Certification in Hot Gas & Extrusion Welding as per EN 13067
- CSWIP - Senior Welding Inspector 3.2.1
- NACE Level 2 Coatings Inspector or BGAS Grade 2 Painting Inspector
- Certification in Blasting & Painting - Supervisor & Operator
- Internal Auditor (ISO 9001, 45001 & 14001)
- White Card (or equivalent)
- Masters in Business & Administration (MBA) or equivalent.
**Experience**
- Minimum of 5 years experience as a Metallurgical Technician or similar role.
- Proven expertise in welding inspection, quality assurance, and technical consultation.
- Experience working in diverse industries, such as mining, oil & gas, or manufacturing.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.

**Education**:
- Advanced Diploma / Associate Degree (required)
**Experience**:
- Metallurgical Technician or similar role: 5 years (required)
Licence/Certification:
- CSWIP 3.2.1 (required)
- CSWIP - Plastic Welder & Visual Plastic Welding Inspector (required)
- NACE Level 2 Coatings Insp or BGAS Grade 2 Painting Insp (required)
- Certification in Hot Gas & Extrusion Welding as per EN 13067 (required)
