The Centre Manager is responsible for the overall day to day management of the Social Support Groups to ensure smooth operations of all programs delivered from the site and in the community. Working closely in collaboration with the Manager Community Service, this fixed term role is responsible for the optimisation of service delivery across the designated service delivery area. The Centre Manager also provides first line response to all stakeholders contacting the site, supports staff recruitment and orientation and the implementation of improvement initiatives and processes that improve utilisation and retention of staff. This is a 7 - month contract.

**Essential**:

- Certificate IV in Home and Community Care or equivalent.
- Previous experience in operations management in similar capacity.
- Effective communication, both verbal and written, including report writing.
- Ability to develop and maintain professional relationships with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders.
- Sound understanding of budget management and effective use of resources.
- Strong IT skills, including the Microsoft Office suite.
- Full current Victorian Driver’s license and preparedness to drive, or learn to drive, a 12-seater bus.
- Certificate in First Aid - Level 2.

**Desirable**:

- Experience with continuous improvement and risk management systems and processes.
- Experience in recreation & retention (Desirable)
- Experience in NDIS (Desirable)
- Experience in running community aged care programs.
- Ability to identify workforce development needs and support individual and team performance.
