**Responsibilities**:

- Full Time Accountant - $74,000 per annum plus superannuation

- Our Accountant is required to plan and provide our business with systems and services to manage all financial aspects of our business and ensure compliance with record-keeping and taxation matters. We require a full-time in-house Accountant to provide us with effective financial reporting and auditing, and sound advice on all taxation matters.
- **Duties**:

- Working with and reporting directly to the Director
- Formulating the annual budget; prepare balance sheet, profit and loss projections at the start of each financial year
- Prepare month end balance sheets and general ledger reconciliations, report any discrepancies and budget constraints to the Director
- Prepare daily bank reconciliation
- Prepare and lodge monthly Single Touch Payroll
- Prepare quarterly Business Activity Statement
- Prepare and lodge payroll tax reporting
- Prepare annual PAYG reconciliation
- Prepare and finalize our YE financial statement
- Prepare and finalize our YE balance sheet, profit and loss statement
- Prepare and finalize our company income tax returns
- Constantly monitor and audit company compliance with tax and superannuation guarantee in relation to full time, part time and temporary employees
- Sign off on all statutory reports and lodgments regarding GST, bank reconciliation records, and payroll records
- Maintain and advise us on computer-based accounting systems such as XERO and MYOB
- Liaising with third parties for accounting purposes, such as banks and ATO
- Prepare and disseminate company accounting policies
