Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary has been a home for sick, injured, and orphaned koalas since 1927. Today, we welcome guests from all over the world to connect with native Australian wildlife in a peaceful, riverside setting just 15 minutes from Brisbane CBD.

**About the Role**:
We’re looking for a reliable and energetic Cleaning Officer to join our team on a casual basis, up to 38 hours per week. You’ll help ensure our park is clean, safe, and welcoming for guests and staff.

This role is hands-on and involves indoor and outdoor cleaning tasks across the sanctuary, including public areas, toilets, bins, staff offices, and paths. You’ll work as part of a close-knit team and take pride in keeping the sanctuary looking its best every day.

You must be available to work weekends and public holidays (we use rotating rosters for fairness).

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Cleaning bathrooms, staff areas, and public spaces
- Removing rubbish and leaf-blowing paths and grounds
- Maintaining cleaning equipment and supplies
- Reporting maintenance issues
- Following cleaning checklists and safety procedures

**About You**:

- A team player with a strong work ethic
- Physically fit and able to lift up to 20kg
- Good attention to detail and time management
- Positive “can-do” attitude
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather
- Valid driver’s licence required
- Hep A and Hep B vaccinations (ideal)
- Experience in cleaning or tourism is great but not essential
