About the opportunity- Design and implement activity programs tailored to residents’ interests, abilities, and cultural backgrounds- Facilitate group and one-on-one activities to promote engagement and enjoyment- Build relationships with residents to foster trust, inclusion, and emotional wellbeing- Coordinate special events for holidays, cultural celebrations, and community engagement- Maintain documentation of resident participation and program effectiveness- Support new residents with orientation and integration into the lifestyle program- Collaborate with care staff and volunteers to ensure holistic support

To thrive in this role, you will have:
- Empathy and genuine interest in working with older adults- Strong communication and interpersonal skills- Creativity in planning diverse and inclusive activities- Ability to adapt programs for residents with physical or cognitive limitations- Teamwork and leadership in multidisciplinary environments- Good administrative and computer skills (e.g., Microsoft Office)

You will also be required to provide evidence of, or in the process of obtaining:
- NDIS clearance- Certificate IV in Leisure and Health (CHC43415) or equivalent essential- First Aid and CPR certification essential- Previous experience in aged care or community services
