We are currently seeking a Laboratory Technician to join one of WA's leading producers of Chemicals in their Laboratory services team. Based in Kwinana, you would be working Monday - Friday on an initial 6-12 month contract. This is a really great opportunity to join an established team and get hands on training and experience with a variety of different instruments and samples.

In this position you will get exposure to sampling on site as well as physical and chemical testing of production and environmental samples. Daily tasks will involve; sample collection and preparation, testing of samples using a variety of analytical instrumentation, preparation and testing of calibration standards, recording and reporting results of testing.

To be successful in this role you will have:

- An enthusiastic attitude, ability to learn and good team work skills.
- Minimum Cert III in Laboratory Skills or Cert IV in Laboratory Techniques. A BSc (Chemistry) or related field would be desirable.
- Experience in a similar role would be advantageous.
- Good verbal and written communication skills and attention to detail.
- A current C class driver's licence is essential.
