We are partnered with a well-known mining company for the recruitment of a new Laboratory Technician, on a FIFO basis on a 7:7 roster (alternating days and nights each swing away). You'll be offered an exceptional hourly rate, and great site working conditions.

This contract is due to start asap, with the potential to grow your career within their business. Other contractors we have placed at this company have gone on to build long-term careers here, and we want you to be next.

In terms of your background, you'll have:

- 2 - 3 years' experience working as a Laboratory Technician in an analytical lab environment.
- Experience with XRF analysis and XRF fusion essential
- Experience with AAS operation
- XRD and UV-VIS experience desirable
- Sample preparation experience essential
- Minimum 'C' class Driver's Licence required
- Bachelor of Science or a Cert IV in Laboratory techniques desirable
- Motivated individual who can work with mínimal supervision and engage in team operations
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- High safety focus
