**Team Leader - Administration**

We are seeking an experienced **Administration Team Leader** to join our team at **Northshore Private Hospital** in this **Permanent Full-Time** **opportunity**

**About the Role**

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic professional to assist in the leadership of administration tea, within Northshore Private Hospital. Reporting to our Front Office Manager, this opportunity will see you responsible for providing effective management, leadership and direction to all administrative personnel, ensuring efficient operation of the front office area and provision of high level administrative and reception services to our site.

**About You**

To succeed in this role, you will have exceptional communication skills both verbally and in writing coupled with the ability to lead, motivate and develop others to achieve results. Your commitment to delivering exceptional customer service in line with our Ramsay Core Values will also be key to your success.

**You will also demonstrate**:

- Exceptional customer service skills and commitment to meet both internal and external customer expectations and requirements
- Effective communication skills and proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as required
- Demonstrated advanced computer skills and proficiency in MS Office package, including intermediate to advanced Excel skills
- Proven organisational skills and high degree of attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to develop policies, plans and strategies departments
- Knowledge of Health Insurance Commission and DVA guidelines
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

**Desirable criteria**:

- Previous health fund experience
- Previous supervisory experience
- Extensive billing experience
- Knowledge of relevant software (Meditech)

**About the Hospital**

North Shore Private Hospital is a 312-bed acute surgical and obstetric facility which performs most surgical specialties including cardiothoracic, neurosurgery, orthopaedics, advanced general and colorectal, urology, spinal surgery, paediatrics and Robotic Surgery. Our hospital offers the latest in cardiac technology combined with first-class standards of accommodation. The theatre complex consists of 18 operating theatres which includes one hybrid theatre and a 25 bay PACU.

**Requirements**:
Everyone who joins Ramsay:

- Must be **vaccinated against Covid-19, **including a third dose if required under State health orders
- _Must provide a _**National Police** check conducted within the previous 12 months
- According to the role, Ramsay may require a **Working-With-Children** check and **proof of immunisation** against infectious diseases
