Our client is a fast growing and leading ASX listed company in the fitness and wellness industry, that continues to grow through their innovative approach.

This newly created role as Payroll Manager will be ideal for someone that comes from a Payroll or Human Resources background, that is fluent in all things related to payroll compliance and legislation.

You will have a team of 4 direct reports and report into the General Manager of People & Culture.

Key responsibilities include:

- Oversee a team of 4 to complete fortnightly payroll processing and employee files.
- Payroll governance and process improvement. Develop and implement SOPs, policies and frameworks.
- Keeping up to date with payroll compliance, legislation, superannuation and tax.
- End to end payroll audits.
- Reporting, including analysis of trends and insights.
- Oversee employee administration to ensure processes and documentations runs smoothly.

To be successful within the role, you will have:

- Demonstrated experience in payroll management. Experience in general human resources highly valued.
- Expertise and strong working knowledge of payroll legislation and compliance.
- Experience with modern awards.
- Experience with payroll and time & attendance systems.
- Exceptional communication skills, highly organised and have the ability to prioritise effectively.
- Meet strict deadlines and mitigate potential risks and errors.
