**About Us**

We are a small and busy metal fabricator of architectural products made for residential and commercial high-end projects. We are looking for an experienced, highly driven production supervisor who can take ownership of the day-to-day production requirements of our workshop.

You will have the opportunity to be involved in a range of premium products that are fabricated in-house and supplied to residential and commercial builders across Victoria. This role requires you to lead a growing team currently of five workers and create a standard of production in which all deadlines and high-quality product expectations are met. You'll need to show up to work every day and engage with our team.

**Main Tasks & Responsibilities**
- Lead and motivate workshop team by providing clear and concise instructions and perform on the job training
- You’ll work closely with our production planner to align production schedules and achieve deadlines
- Responsible for our team’s safety and workshop's organisation
- Implement and streamline manufacturing processes, procedures, and systems
- Implement, monitor, and support operations and products standards
- Improve manufacturing efficiency and productivity
- Deliver improved products and brand quality
- Accountable for meeting production goals and enjoy being part of the team’s success
- Show up to work every day - Commitment and punctuality is highly regarded.

**Experience & Qualification**
- Familiar with the principles of LEAN manufacturing as well as the Lean/Six-Sigma approach
- Experience supervising or managing a team in a metal fabrication environment
- 2 years’ experience in metal fabrication and knowledge of welding, folding, and engineering
- Coach, lead and teach staff within a metal fabrication environment
- Clear and concise communication skills and ability to work to tight deadlines while having the passion and energy to achieve targets.

**Salary**: $75,000.00 - $109,000.00 per year
