Our client is an Australian pharmaceutical business who are looking to expand and develop their own private label line to distribute nationally to their 1000 stores. They pride themselves on being a high-performing industry leader, and are seeking to add to their enthusiastic and devoted Merchandise team.

**Responsibilities**:

- Conduct market research and analysis
- Execute category reviews to ensure optimal category performance and within PLM timelines
- Maintain up to date information of new lines and deals and communicate to all relevant internal and external stake holders
- Build strong long-term supplier business relationships with mutual beneficial outcomes
- Conduct analysis post campaigns, range reviews and general sales
- Support PEL profit opportunities achieving contribution targets & penetration
- Collation of Category strategies, planograms, and relevant information from Category Assistants in readiness to be communicated to Franchise partners
- University degree qualified in a relevant field (Commerce, Business, Finance, or similar)
- Experienced in financial management, budgeting, forecasting and delivery
- A detailed oriented individual with excellent time management skills
- A strong communicator with good relationship building skills, who can manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Highly analytical and numerate with the ability to convert analysis and identify business benefits
- Self-starter and able to demonstrate drive, initiative and proactivity
- able to prioritise and organise tasks and workload
- able to work with others as part of a team with strong communication skills (verbal and written) and effectively manage stakeholders
- A strong negotiator who possesses influencing skills including collaborative end to end skills
- Minimum 2 years of buying experience in health, beauty, personal care, or related categories
