**9D Care **offers a range of supports and assistance to a variety of local residents, including help at home, social inclusion and community participation. We are looking for people who can provide practical and emotional help to others, calling on their own real-life experiences to build rapport and relationships. Your support will enable our clients to remain living independently and comfortably in their own homes, throughout the Queensland Region.

**The Opportunity**:
This is a casual role and will be based in **South Morang** **Vic**. Are you looking for a job which provides flexibility and the opportunity to make a positive impact in the lives of people with disabilities?

**About You**:
We require our Care Workers to be reliable, committed, and empathetic individuals to provide quality care as a Support Worker.

**We look for**:
A can-do attitude and genuine interest in helping others
Various hobbies - sewing, arts, gardening, cooking and scrap booking to name a few
Experience in various outdoor pursuits and activities
A practical understanding of hygiene assistance and commitment of care
Enjoyment in social activities, and one-on-one engagement
Understanding of physical limitations and a safe, sensible approach
Creativity, enthusiasm, sensitivity and emotional stability
Strong communication and organisational skills - able to manage your time and support clients to do the same in an everyday capacity

Commitment to providing responsive and considerate care
Prioritise punctuality and reliability
Prioritise individual, family and guardian needs
Flexible and adaptive communication skills

**Qualifications required**:

- Certificate IV in Disability or Diploma of Community Services or equivalent.
- A current National Police Certificate
- Open Valid Driver License and your own, reliable vehicle (must required)
- At least one year experience supporting someone with complex disabilities and behaviours of concern
- Current First aid Certificate Smart Phone and internet access.
- Physically capable of meeting the requirements of the role.
- All applicants must have a relevant visa or working rights in Australia.

A Care Worker role with 9D care will provide you with training and development opportunities, flexibility in working hours and access to a network of fellow carers passionate about improving quality of life.
With our customer as our number one priority, we are expanding our service offering to ensure we are at the forefront in providing tailored care to an individual.
