**Your new company**
Your new company is a leading Australian manufacturer and supplier of automotive products with a warehouse based in Western Sydney. They have an exciting opportunity for you to take the next step in your career as their Warehouse Manager on a permanent basis.
**Your new role**
As a Warehouse Manager you will be responsible for overseeing the operation in the warehouse, as well as facilitating the growth within the business by implementing operational improvements and leading growth projects. Reporting to the National Operations Manager, you will lead a team of 3 direct reports and a team of 14 indirect reports. Your duties will include:
- Ensure accurate receiving, storing, dispatching and high quality of goods
- Training, mentoring and development of staff members through high engagement, support and communication.
- Stock layout re-organisation
- Maintain high inventory accuracy
- Maintain 100% on-time delivery
- Lead and organize continuous improvement methods
- Ensure warehouse operations are conducted safely and efficiently
- Maintain communication with key internal and external stakeholders
- Ensure consistent KPI reporting and monitoring to meet established targets
- Rostering and organisation of adequate labour
**What you'll need to succeed**
As a successful Warehouse Manager, you will have previous experience as a Warehouse Manager or a similar role, as well as the following:
- Proven experience as a warehouse manager within a fast-paced environment, as well as demonstrated experience leading growth and implementing continuous improvement initiatives.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to enable you to effectively lead by example, prepared to be hands on when required.
- Demonstrates innovation and forward-thinking who drives an engaging high-performance culture
- Strong knowledge of warehouse management procedures and Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s)
- A track record in people management
- Experience in automated warehouse environments preferred
- Experience in managing projects such as warehouse relocation, systems implementation and analysing stock layouts to create more efficient environments.
- Strong computer literacy and systems skills
- Current forklift licence
**What you'll get in return**
You will receive a highly competitive salary of $110K - $130K + Super depending on experience in a permanent role, as well as the opportunity to work within a leading, established business experiencing exciting growth.
