**The Opportunity**

Reporting directly to the Procurement Governance and Sustainability Manager, this newly created role is responsible for the day-to-day management of Procurement governance and sustainability activities and to support the Procurement Governance & Sustainability Manager in executing the delivery and embedding of the associated frameworks and strategy. The Procurement Governance and Sustainability Coordinator will demonstrate Medibanks values in their work every step of the way and support the wider team to collectively succeed.

- Manage assurance activities with respect to modern slavery and other third-party risks.
- Progress actions associated to accessibility and inclusion and our reconciliation action plan.
- Progress actions under our net zero commitments with respect to third-party greenhouse gas emissions.
- Support the development and implementation of a Procurement governance framework that incorporates all risk and governance activities including third party risk and regulatory and legislative obligations.
- Be a champion advocate for ESG Procurement in all interactions with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Work collaboratively with a broad range of business stakeholders and cross functional team members to progress actions and normalise sustainable buying.
- Support training and awareness campaigns for internal and external stakeholders.

**About you**

You have 2+ years’ experience in a procurement or risk management role and understand regulatory obligations and government legislation. You'll have a proven ability to build rapport, communicate and engage your stakeholders effectively.

With exceptional time management, organisation and interpersonal skills you can manage conflicting priorities and deadlines comfortably. You should also understand the significance of third-party risk management and ESG to the lifecycle procurement process including procure to pay and contract and supplier management.
