**About the Role**:
Are you a strategic leader with a passion for customer service and a drive for building deep, profitable relationships? Allianz Australia Limited (AAL) is looking for an exceptional Head of Customer Engagement to lead our strategic planning and engagement processes for key customers within our Commercial Underwriting portfolio.
As the Head of Customer Engagement, you will be at the forefront of designing and implementing customer journeys for our largest Mid Corp clients and their brokers. Your role will be crucial in maximizing the value of AAL touchpoints, creating and managing a robust Customer Engagement Platform (CEP), and developing individual Customer Plans to establish sustainable business connections and growth opportunities.
**Other key aspects of the role**:
- Designing and implementing customer journeys to enhance the experience of our Mid Corp customers and their brokers.
- Developing and managing a Customer Engagement Platform to support strategic processes.
- Crafting Customer Plans that foster sustainable business growth with end customers and servicing brokers.
- Managing business-proposal development and tender responses efficiently.
- Partnering with Claims to create a compelling ‘Go to Market’ proposition that aligns with customer risk profiles and growth ambitions.
- Collaborating with Allianz Risk Consultants and Underwriters to develop tailored risk management programmes and fee-based services.
- Providing customer-centric feedback to internal stakeholders to capitalize on business opportunities.
- Working closely with global Allianz colleagues to implement best practices in Customer Engagement.
**Important to your success**:
- A tertiary degree in Business or a relevant discipline, or equivalent business experience.
- Strong knowledge of underwriting and the general insurance industry.
- Extensive experience in developing and implementing business strategies aligned with organizational vision and purpose.
- Proven ability to partner and collaborate effectively with senior stakeholders, external partners, and suppliers.
- Executive presence and leadership skills to drive positive cultural change.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for impactful and influential communication at all levels.
- Demonstrated commercial acumen with insights into market dynamics, opportunities, risks, and competitors in the insurance industry.
- Ability to develop solutions and make decisions in complex and ambiguous circumstances.
