**Position Overview**:
GreenStar HomeCare is seeking compassionate and dedicated Support Workers to provide high-quality care and assistance to individuals with disabilities. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in enhancing participants' independence, well-being, and quality of life in alignment with their NDIS plans.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Personal Care**: Assist with daily living activities, including grooming, bathing, dressing, and mobility support.
- **Community Access**: Support participants to engage in community activities, appointments, and social outings.
- **Domestic Assistance**: Help with household tasks such as cleaning, cooking, laundry, and grocery shopping.
- **Skill Development**: Encourage and assist participants in building life skills and achieving personal goals.
- **Emotional Support**: Provide companionship, build trusting relationships, and promote a positive, empowering environment.
- **Medication Assistance**: Administer or remind participants to take medications as prescribed (if required and trained).
- **Documentation**: Maintain accurate records of activities, incidents, and progress, ensuring compliance with NDIS standards.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Experience in disability support, aged care, or a related field (preferred).
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Certificate III or IV in Disability, Aged Care, or Individual Support).
- Current First Aid and CPR certification.
- National Police Check and Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain).
- Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle (preferred).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Empathy, patience, and a commitment to empowering individuals.

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 - 12 per week

Licence/Certification:

- First Aid Certification (required)
- Working with Children Check (required)
- National Police Certificate (required)
- Driver Licence (required)
