**About the role**:
We are currently seeking Support Workers within the **_Brisbane South/East _**area to support our clients. This role will involve travelling between client's homes and assisting them with daily living and lifestyle requirements by providing person-centred care and support.
- Salary above the award rate, $32.80 p/h base with opportunity & penalties hours
- Flexibility with hours you want and work different days of the week

- Good interpersonal skills & written/verbal communication skills
- Reliable & dependable
- Comfortable using technology (i.e. mobile app) for accessing rosters & recording customer notes/feedback

**Duties and responsibilities include**:

- Personal care: showering, dressing, grooming and medication assistance
- Social support/transportation for social activities, shopping/groceries, travelling to medical appointments
- Domestic assistance: light household cleaning, laundry and meal preparation
- Supporting customers in the use of aids and personal equipment
- Supporting customers with complex and/or challenging needs
- Monitoring the well-being of customers and reporting on their progress
- Provide updates on customer progress following each service

**What you will need**:

- Current NDIS Worker Screening Clearance / Criminal Record Check (required)
- Current Working with Children Check (preferred or willing to obtain)
- Certificate III or IV in Aged Care, Home & Community Care, Individual Support or Disability Services (preferred)
- Current First Aid certificate/CPR (required)
- Current Australian Driver’s License (required)
- Reliable, registered, and insured vehicle (required)
- Smart phone with internet access (required)
