Hays Technology are currently partnered with a well-established client to appoint an experienced Test Manager to a contract until December
**Your new role**
As the Test Manager, you will be responsible for preparing for and managing the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for the Oracle Fusion project. This also includes ensuring that all relevant environments are available to support the testing.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will also include:
- Development of an overall User Acceptance Test strategy and UAT test plan
- Ensuring that appropriate test scripts and end-to-end test scenarios are produced for UAT
- Collaborating across multiple teams to help prepare the project for UAT environment testing (including shakeout testing and readiness checklist in place, pre-testing commencement)Ensuring that testing is conducted effectively and efficiently and that adequate resources are available and that risks are identified and managed (including escalating any key risks or issues to the Project Manager)
**What you'll need to succeed**
To be successful in this position, you will have:
- Extensive experience as a test manager in large scale ERP implementation projects is essential
- Demonstrated ability to engage with vendor and internal representatives to explain test environment processes and concepts
- In-depth experience shaping and executing test strategies and plans is essential
- Demonstrated ability to manage resource capacity to meet and align with project schedules
- Demonstrated experience in working on large-scale projects to support business needs and foster a culture of cooperation, teamwork, commitment to excellence and professional ethics
