The Officer, Privacy and Information Access is a key member of the Privacy and Information Access Team (PIAT) within the Legal and Enforcement Branch.

Reporting to the Team Leader and working with the Senior Privacy and Information Access Officer, this role will assist members of the public seeking access to information held by AUSTRAC under the Freedom of Information Act 1982 (FOI Act), as well as liaise with internal stakeholders across AUSTRAC to discharge AUSTRAC’s obligations under the FOI Act and the Privacy Act 1988 (Privacy Act).
