As our Mail Sorting Officer, you’ll be working at our **City** **Delivery Centre** where you’ll be responsible for manually sorting mail in preparation for delivery the next day. You’ll play a key role in supporting our Posties, who provide a vital service to our local community every single day. You’ll be working together with a friendly team of like-minded people, and your community relies on you, and it doesn’t get better than that

**Shift hours: 4am-9am Monday to Friday**

**You’ll be**
- Working efficiently individually or in a team to manually sort mail into logical street, number and into an appropriate round
- Lifting and handling heavy parcels and bags of mail regularly
- Required to use manual pallet jacks and stackers to receive and despatch large volume of mail
- Provided initial and ongoing training with senior team members who are committed to engage and take part in your professional development
- Van deliveries as required

**About you**
- You are flexible with working additional hours if required
- You have a great memory, excellent attention to detail and can lift up to 16kgs of Mail and Parcels regularly
- Experience operating manual pallet jacks or stackers is advantageous but not mandatory
- You hold a current WA drivers licence
