As we continue to evolve the People & Culture function, we are looking for our next People Business Partner. This role will strengthen our ability to plan and deliver an outstanding people experience across our business, including hands-on involvement in strategic and cyclical HR initiatives.
You must be a flexible and proactive individual, able to work autonomously and to make things happen. This is a great opportunity for a HR generalist with a few years of business partnering experience and who is excited by the challenge of working in an environment where your impact on the business is real and immediate. **Responsibilities**:
- Partner with leaders to develop, coach and implement effective people policies and practices that will support the strategic growth of the business.
- Collaborate with leaders to design organizational structures, job roles, and talent management processes to drive organizational strategy.
- Maintain a current knowledge of legislation and regulation that relate to people issues and participate in developing appropriate policies and procedures.
- Offer coaching, counselling and learning solutions to leaders and employee to promote professional development and career progression opportunities.
- Enable a culture of high performance by educating and coaching leaders on performance management and performance discussions.
- In collaboration with the People Team, help develop culture strategies and design approaches for diagnosing and enhancing employee engagement.
- Educate leaders and team members on remuneration practices including remuneration, incentives and recognition programs.
**What you'll need**:
- Previous experience working in a HR business partner role, while running multiple projects.
- Having worked in Financial Services would be a huge advantage.
- A demonstrated knowledge of HR programs and practices, including applicable state and national employment laws and regulations
- Experience in developing practical learning and development solutions
- Demonstrated analytical thinking, problem solving and decision making skills
- Ability to listen and understand the needs of the employees, together with those of the company
- Ability to stylistically adapt communication based on audience and comfortable facilitating discussions and workshops
