
Learning & Development Specialist

Key Accountabilities:
- Partner with the business to identify development needs
- Ensure Inductions for all employees meet the needs of the business and prepare employees to
hit the ground running
- Ensure Career Pathways provide engaging and impactful development opportunities
- Ensure support initiatives meet their goals
Role Responsibilities:
The Learning and Development Specialist's key responsibilities are:
- Full responsibility for Induction and Career Pathway activities across the business
- Conduct needs assessments to identify business needs that align with strategic goals.
- Design and develop learning solutions that are engaging, effective and align to our learning
approach.
- Create evaluation plans to measure capability attainment and learning transfer.
- Create and maintain templates for crafting learning solutions.
- Undertake key LMS administration duties.
- Update learning solutions.
- Research and experiment with new ways of learning.
- Learning administration as required
Skills and Competencies:
- Over 5 years experience in a learning and development role.
- Highly competent in Adobe Articulate 360 (essential)
- Knowledge of the latest industry tools and processes.
- Excellent instructional design skills.
- Experience interacting with and managing an LMS.
- Strong project experience.
Prior knowledge and skills:
- Proven ability to work independently and as a member of a professional team.
- Highly developed organizational skills, able to manage competing priorities while producing
high-quality, creative outputs efficiently and quickly.
- Demonstrated experience working in a similar role within the IT industry
