Join Sunwater as our General Manager Risk and Compliance where you will be responsible for leading and managing Sunwater’s enterprise-wide risk and compliance frameworks, leading a team of risk and compliance professionals and overseeing the implementation of key programs and projects that champion and contribute to increasing Sunwater’s maturity.

As the General Manager Risk and Compliance at Sunwater, you will also:

- Enhance, update, improve and review policies, procedures and programs to communicate and further embed risk management practices across Sunwater.
- Provide expert advice and reports and presentations to Sunwater’s executive leadership team, Audit and Risk Committee and Board on the risk and compliance frameworks and associated activities and initiatives.
- Lead, coach and develop the risk & compliance team by setting clear expectations, communicating regularly and monitoring performance to develop a safe, positive and productive work environment.
- Facilitate risk and compliance training across the Sunwater business.

We are seeking a talented individual with the ability to influence internal stakeholders to take ownership and support key strategic projects which support a positive cultural of risk and compliance in line with Sunwater’s values and purpose. You will have technical expertise in enterprise risk and compliance frameworks, relevant industry legislation and standards (AS ISO 31000:2018, AS ISO 19600:2015) and appropriate conversion into policy and procedure. You will also have experience with Project Governance processes in delivering key enterprise initiatives. You will also bring:

- **Excellent Communication skills**: High level written communication skills, with demonstrated ability to prepare written reports, memos, presentations, and other communications in a clear and logical manner.
- **Innovation**:Ability to think innovatively and adapt as necessary to resolve issues and ensure the achievement of project objectives and the management of project risks and opportunities.
- **Leadership**: Highly developed leadership and people management skills, with an ability to coach and develop staff to ensure a highly effective and engaged team environment.
