**About the role**
We currently have 2 Permanent Full Time Teacher of Teacher of Aboriginal Primary Health opportunities available at our Nowrax1 and Wagga Waggax1 TAFE NSW Campuses.
As a professional educator, a TAFE Teacher’s role is to help, construct, guide and enhance the learning process. You will deliver educational programs and facilitate learning, to enable students to qualify as the next generation of Phlebotomists, Pathology collectors, Pathology assistants, Specimen collection officers and Specialist specimen collectors. Our teacher’s deliver educational programs and facilitate learning, enabling students to achieve their desired outcomes.
Don’t have a TAE teaching qualification? No problem

**To be successful in this role you must**:

- Have a qualification in Aboriginal and / or Torres Strait Islander Primary Health Care (Certificate IV or above), OR Aboriginal Health (Certificate IV or above), OR Nursing (Diploma or above) or equivalent
- Current registration with AHPRA as an Aboriginal and / or Torres Strait Islander Health Practitioner or other health professional
- Demonstrated Cultural competence and experience in teaching Aboriginal Health Programs
- Minimum three years post-qualification in the implementation of Primary Health Care for Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander communities over the last five years
- Hold a Certificate IV TAE40116 or equivalent, or be willing to join our innovative Paid to Learn Program
- Be prepared to continue to develop their Vocational Education and Training (VET) knowledge and skills as well as their industry currency and trainer/assessor competence
