**Your role as a Lead Data Architecture Data will involve**:

- Architect and lead data driven solutions across the Corporation.
- Define, document and drive data architectural standards across the Corporation.
- Work with the architecture team to ensure that created artefacts meet organisational standards and IT architectural governance.
- Establish and lead the Data Architecture function ensuring direct reports or other employees follow approved standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align data architecture with business, technology, and data strategies.
- Ensure data quality, integration, governance, and privacy by design best practices are implemented across corporation projects.
- Assist and assess new solutions for suitability in line with the Corporation’s data architectural standards.
- Work with the data team to ensure platform architecture is suitable, scalable, resilient, secure, and aligned with industry best practices.
- Create comprehensive documentation that includes architectural diagrams, design specifications, and integration guides relating to data architecture.
- Ensure that solutions comply with relevant legislation, standards, and organizational policies.
- Provide Data Engineering expertise as required to enable implementation of architectural standards.

**Qualifications and experience in the following fields is desirable**:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or related discipline.
- Postgraduate qualifications in Data
- Formal architectural certifications highly regarded.
- Significant experience in Data engineering and architectural roles
