**The Role**
Organic Angels is currently seeking an enthusiastic and experienced casual Picker / Packing Assistant to join our team.

The role will include:

- Accurately picking and packing fresh produce boxes for individual customer orders, in a timely manner
- Counting, sorting and preparing fresh produce for the day’s packing session
- Weighing produce, to correct quantity, while ensuring good quality
- Performing duties such as manual lifting, packaging, labelling & checking quality
- Maintaining a clean & orderly working environment, and following safety requirements
- Other general warehouse duties as required

**About You**
As a key member of our team, you will be a confident communicator who has a professional, positive and friendly approach. Experience within hospitality, a food production facility or previous hand packing experience is preferred but not essential.

To be successful in this role you will need to demonstrate:

- Excellent literacy and communication skills
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Numeracy: you will need to quickly mentally calculate correct amounts of fresh produce by weight or number
- Great organisational and time management skills
- A positive attitude and willingness to take direction
- Ability to work well within a team environment
- Capable of meeting packing targets (packing 6 -7 orders in an hour)
- Reliable, punctual and flexible, and willing to work longer and/or extra shifts when required
- A love for organic fruit & veggies

**Work Hours**
This is a casual position requiring availability 3 days per week on Mondays, Tuesdays & Thursdays from 7am to 1 pm (approximately). The right person will have the flexibility to work longer or occasional extra shifts. Hours will vary from 15 - 24 hours per week.
