**About the company**

Privately owned medium-sized Steel Fabrication and Steel Sales business with a 15 year history in QLD. They have grown successfully over the years and have secured a dependable and consistent pipeline of customers and steel orders. They have their own workshop offering full Fabrication Services of Structural Steel and they also supply General Steel product sales of steel products including consumables and sundries. Their customers are mainly builders who develop residential dwellings and the products they fabricate include posts, stairs, beams, frames, balustrades, handrails and other structural steel items and metal works.

**About the role**

Workshop Supervisor who will be responsible for supervising a Steel Fabrication workshop. Experience motivating workers and ensuring quality, safety and productivity are optimal. General handling of contracts, certification paperwork, QA systems, timelines, delivery schedules and making sure all OH&S regulations are being followed.

**Requirements for this role**
- 5+ years Steel Fabrication background.
- 5yrs+ Tekla
- experience in Steel Detailing or Project Management in the Qld Construction industry advantageous
- Able to ensure every project has an accurate 3D model which correctly reflects architectural/structural requirements and site related informatioN
- Ability to understand and assess engineering drawings
- Highly developed communication skills.
