
Community Care and Program Coordinator

This is a rare opportunity to work within the Sanitarium Corporate Communications team as the Community Care and Program Coordinator. The role is integral to the operation of our Community Care and Spirit of Sanitarium program and directly assists and supports the Community Partnerships & Communications Manager in the delivery of strategic plans, projects, and programs with the goal of building healthy sustainable communities through our Community Care Program.
Additionally, the role assists in the delivery of key Internal Communications programs and projects including the annual trans-tasman Spirit of Sanitarium Awards (SOSA) program, as directed by the Senior Manager, Internal & CSR Communications.

**Key tasks include**:
**Community Care**
- Provide Community Care and program support.
- Support key community projects ensuring quality outcomes.
- Coordinate product ordering and delivery for the Community Care program
- Assess, respond, and coordinate the Community Care inbox requests and attend to all community care requests.
- Maintain relevant program data and compile regular reports as required.
- Develop and manage systems to ensure efficient operation and reporting for the Community Care program.
- Support the implementation and delivery of the annual Corporate Fundraising Project.
**Internal Communications**
- Support the delivery of the Spirit of Sanitarium Awards program.
- Support the delivery of our internal staff news publication in an accurate and timely manner.
- Champion information on our intranet for the Communications team.
- Maintain the community care and heritage sites on our intranet.
- Support with other adhoc communication admin duties.
**Skills & Experience**
- Experience in project management desirable.
- Effective written and verbal communications skills.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Able to multi-task and to take initiative in recommending and acting on solutions.
- Effective use of SharePoint in support of department activity and process management.
- Good with presentation and design, through to print and electronic publishing of information, publications, AV and promotional material.
- Familiar with AV equipment and digital technologies.
- Work experience in either a PR or business context.
- Communications Degree majoring in Public Relations or other relevant qualifications is preferred.
