Your Opportunity
As the Manager, Partnership Development and Engagement you will be responsible for:
- Effectively lead and manage the Partnership Development and Engagement team to identify, develop and implement offshore commercial partnerships and business development projects, and international student recruitment opportunities to achieve revenue goals to enhance TAFE Queensland's position as a premier provider of education in the international market both onshore and offshore
- Develop, implement and revise TQIE regional business development strategies to inform individual and team targets and budgets to maximise growth from international activities in line with international revenue targets.
- Lead inbound international student recruitment to achieve identified revenue goals and objectives to increase the volume, diversity and quality of the TAFE Queensland International student cohort.
- Identify, develop and secure commercially viable offshore transnational education services and projects.
This position reports to the Executive Director, International Development.
This is a Permanent Full-Time opportunity.
The base location is negotiable, however you may be required to perform work at other TAFE Queensland Brisbane region campuses.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to the success of transformation and cultural change through promoting and modelling the established values of Safety First, Working Together, Focussing on our Customer, Taking Responsibility and Showing Initiative.
- Live a safety culture, lead by example and support the Health Safety and Environment Management System to create a TAFE Queensland Brisbane-wide safety culture.
- In conjunction with the Executive Director, International Development, set policy position and oversee, evaluate and review global strategies for international student recruitment, development of partnerships for program delivery, exchanges, joint research opportunities, academic and student exchanges and study abroad opportunities.
- Provide strategic and operational management to a large and complex team of professionals across a number of locations, allowing for continual professional development and consideration for succession planning.
- Identify and delegate appropriately individual responsibility, set individual and team performance targets and track performance against targets to ensure organisational and team priorities are met.
- Achieve identified revenue projections from international students, offshore projects and study tours and increase market awareness of the TAFE Queensland brand within designated market.
- Represent TAFE Queensland on and offshore with a wide range of clients from diverse cultures through the active participation in relevant international groups, associations and functions, utilising these events as opportunities to maintain currency of knowledge of industry trends and developments.
- Leverage an in-depth knowledge of designated target markets and work with TQIE Executive and management to develop, implement and report on international business development, marketing and student recruitment plans that are customised to the target market and aligned with TAFE Queensland strategic plan.
- Establish and maintain internal and external stakeholder relationships and undertake a key stakeholder management role by liaising with staff across TAFE Queensland to collaborate and maximise the opportunity for business growth and effective client relationship management.
- Coordinate the information needed and lead the writing of reports, briefing papers and high-level submissions, position papers, policies and other documents on key industry issues.
- Continuously promote business improvement efficiencies by streamlining processes, reducing cost and enhancing outcomes.
