- Permanent Part-Time role 22.8 hours per week. Balance working from home and the office with a friendly team environment

About You
You are looking for a position that will give you self-satisfaction by working in the Mental Health Service industry. You take pride in adding value to the organization by way of minimizing aged debtors and have a drive for continuous improvement and collaboration within the wider finance team. In addition, you will have:

- Accounts receivables experience with a working knowledge of finance procedures.
- Demonstrated, extensive experience in debt collection from both individual clients as well as institutional clients.
- Understanding of the National Disability Insurance Scheme and the NFP sector
- Customer service focused with excellent interpersonal communication skills.
- Intermediate word and excel skills.
- Sound administrative and organisational skills.
- High degree of accuracy with attention to detail.
- Demonstrated time management ability.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Systems capability - understanding of MYOB
- Flexible and adaptable to change

It is a requirement of this position to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and meet all compliance requirements in relation to NDIS Work Screening, Working With Children’s Check, work rights and possess a current & valid driver’s license.

About the Role
The Accounts Receivable Collections Officer role is a newly created position that is part of an updated structure to meet the needs for an expanding NFP Organisation. The Accounts Receivables Collections officer is responsible for minimising aged debtors by proactively and systematically initiating collection activity to ensure that both individual clients as well as institutional clients pay overdue invoices in the shortest possible timeframe.
