**About the Opportunity**
We currently have an exciting opportunity to join the **Metabolic Clinical Trials Unit** as **Administrative Officer, **this position involves:
- Coordinating appointments, clinical activities, attendance at committee meetings and the scheduling of visits/visitors.
- Providing meeting secretarial support including meeting coordination, minute taking etc.
- Undertake project support functions for all studies under direction, to meet the administrative requirements of the study.
- Provide a range of accurate financial functions, transactions and procedures for the unit.
**About You**
To be successful in this role, you will have the ability to:
- Demonstrated highly developed oral and written communication skills.
- Proven extensive experience in establishing and maintaining effective office systems, practices, policies, procedures and corporate records management.
- Ability to adapt in a changing environment.
- Demonstrated ability to analyse problems objectively and make recommendations for their resolution.
- Proven ability to contribute to and work in a harmonious team environment.
- Experience in clinical trial administration will be looked upon favourably.
