Play an integral role in ensuring our global systems team have adequate Vulnerability Management resources to assist in continuous reviewing and actioning our risk footprint, by liaising with our global Risk & Audit team.

The Vulnerability Management Coordinator role has the global responsibility of maintaining and improving processes within the Systems Management remit. This includes the review of the existing services GSM provides, new services being onboarded, leading TVM activities and collaboration across our various department / teams.

Operationally, the core of this role is to review, advise and consult on GSM information systems, improving upon BAU TVM processes for secure operations, as well as assisting in the alignment with industry and community security standards.

**Key responsibilities will include**:

- Operational management of security related tasks, such as patching, vulnerability remediation, security standard implementation and validation, within the GSM area of responsibility
- Global Systems Management security toolset evaluation and securing recommendations (e.g., SCCM, SCOM, SolarWinds, Vuln Mgmt., AD Audit, etc)
- Ensure the team is provided with technical direction on Microsoft patching, policies (tooling & GPO) and vulnerability management of the global fleet.
- Support the Global Systems Manager on management, from a technical point of view, on policies (tooling & GPO) and vulnerability (weakness) management of the global fleet.
- Required to review the additional security information being handed over
- Collaborate with various teams and help with the adoption of the new service being transitioned, contribute to the creation and review of design documentation
- Software and Hardware lifecycle management (EoL & security flaws)
- Regular collaboration with GIS, GP&D, and the rest of CTS to deliver on improved security related processes, validation, and implementation, including technical reviews of implemented processes
- Monitor security controls with a centralized process management system between CTS, GP&D, and GIS
- Coach, counsel and initiate technical & security-based recommendations for pen test findings, Internal audits, and vulnerability prioritization from TVM activities
- TSS Governance - review Server & Endpoint TSS and monitor for changes/anomalies which drift from our GIS agreed standards
- Monthly reporting on the status of GSM systems Identified risks & remediation recommendations are communicated immediately to the team & stakeholders
- Other GSM duties or tasks, as assigned, will occur on this high demand team, therefore flexibility in the role will be required to be successful

**What will you bring to the role?**

**Key skills required include**:

- Mid level experience in a technical IT infrastructure role or security role, or equivalent combination of educaiton and experience.
- Analytical with excellent problem-solving skills
- Perseverance to see a task through to completion
- Able to learn new technologies and work in a technical environment
- Able to follow set processes & procedures and highlight potential improvements
- Flexible within a constantly changing environment
- Ability to work under pressure to meet required deadlines
- Working flexibility to attend our Abbotsford office when required

**Desired skills/experience**:

- Current Industry certification is preferred with previous work experience (3+ Years) and bachelor’s degree is not required but would be beneficial.
- Infrastructure or Security Related Certifications
- IT certification and/or related experience such as CompTIA A+, Server+, Linux+, Network+, CCENT, MSCA
- Project management exposure
