**About the Role**

Our participant has requested a female support worker who meets all selection criteria.

You’ll provide optimal care for our Participant by assisting with activities of daily living and other care as outlined in their individual care plan.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Community access: shopping, medical appointments and social outings
- Assistance for medication, meal preparation, PEG feeding and light domestic duties
- Personal Care: showering, continence care, hygiene support
- Supporting participants who use mobility aids, this may include wheelchairs and hoists.

**About You**

You are friendly and reliable with a good work ethic. You pride yourself on providing personal care with dignity and respect. You are patient and confident to assist participants with mental health and behaviours of concern. You understand the importance of providing individualised support within a home environment. Can adapt to different situations and think outside the box to solve problems?

**Shifts available: Mon - Saturday: 9am - 4pm**

**_ Your skills and experience include:_**
- Prior experience supporting clients with disabilities highly desirable
- Experience in BOC, mental health, positive behaviour support
- Relevant nationally recognised qualification highly desirable
- Must have a **QLD** driver’s licence and own reliable transport
- Current Paid employee Blue Card (or willing to obtain before employment)
- Current Paid employee Yellow Card/NDIS Worker Clearance (or willing to obtain before employment)
- Current First Aid & CPR (or willing to obtain before employment)
- NDIS ‘Worker Orientation’ module (or willing to obtain before employment)
- Full Australian working rights
- Smart phone with internet access
- Two current (within the past 2 years) professional references from a supervisor will be required
