About the role:

- Working for EIH Care within the community and supporting participants in their own homes, within the community and in our SIL houses.
- Supporting clients during the morning, afternoon and evening
- You will be involved in the clients' evening routines
- Completing tasks such as Meal preparation, hospital appointment and shopping.
- Flexibility to work with short notice providing coverage for staff who are unable to work on the same day or week

- **Hoist experience** (all shifts);
- **Bowel therapy experience** - **enema experience** (afternoon shifts);
- Reliable, Hygienic, ‘can do’ attitude, strong time management skills;
- Live no further than 20 - 30 minutes travel from Fortitude Valley QLD (Preferred but not mandatory);
- Limited visitors parking. Travel by public transportation (Preferred but not mandatory);
- Female (preferred); and
- Meet and greet/ Support person selection.
- Experience working in the disability sector
- Driver's license and own a car
- Working With Children Check
- First Aid/CPR certificate
- Ability to work independently & as part of a team
- Current Police check/certificate
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Covid-19 vaccine

To be considered for this opportunity you must have a legal entitlement to work in Australia.

**Shift timing**:

- Monday to Sunday - Morning - 6:00am to 9:30am;
- Monday to Sunday - Afternoon - 3:00pm to 7:30pm;
There are opportunities for additional hours.

**Job Type**: Casual

**Salary**: $35.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Afternoon shift
- Day shift
- Every weekend
- Morning shift
- Public holidays
- Weekend availability

Supplemental pay types:

- Penalty rates
