Bacchus Marsh, Australia RCC Excavations Full time

A full time, permanent position in the Ballarat/Sunbury/Melton/Macedon regions has become available for an Assistant Gas Services and Mains Layer within our expanding crew.

**Position Summary**:

- Assisting with Service Laying on the Ausnet Network in new and established areas
- Assisting with Mains Laying on the Ausnet Network in new and established areas
- Hand digging around assets
- Temporary Reinstatement of Footpaths, Crossovers and Roads
- Monday - Friday, with potential for overtime
- Excellent working conditions with a family owned and run small business

**About You**:

- Physically fit and willing to get your hands dirty in a range of outdoor weather conditions
- Be able to work in a team environment
- Be highly self-motivated and have a great work ethic
- Enjoy manual labour
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills
- Be comfortable working with and around critical underground infrastructure
- Have a high regard for safety
- Have the ability to problem-solve and identify solutions

**Minimum Requirements**:

- Australian Driver’s License and own/have regular access to a car
- White Card (Construction Induction Safety Certificate)

The below certifications are preferable, but are not essential for employment consideration:

- Truck License (MR)
- Spotters Registration Certificate
- Downer Induction
- Ausnet Induction
- Level II First Aid & CPR (HLTAID003 & HLTAID001)
- Traffic Management (RIIWHS205D & RIIWHS302D)
- Fire Training (CPPFES2005A)
- Asbestos Awareness

Must be willing to undergo pre-employment and random drug and alcohol testing if successful.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
