Entry Level and Skilled Meat Process Workers

Gundagai, Australia TASK LABOUR AUSTRALIA Full time

**We are seeking Skilled and Unskilled Meat Process Workers (Lamb and Sheep) for our client, located in Gundagai NSW.**
- Ongoing casual position with full-time hours (4-5 days per week depending on the area worked, 7.6hours per day)
- Ongoing training is provided plus progression opportunities
- Morning shift starts at 5:30 am
- Accommodation is supplied

**Skills required**
- Industry experience is preferred but not necessary
- Previous knife experience desirable but not essential
- Willingness to handle raw meat products (Lamb and Sheep)
- Physically fit and can repetitively lift 5kg - 25kg
- Ability to work in a cold environment
- Commit to working safely and following procedures in a physical job
- Adhere to all company & WHS policies and procedures

**To be successful, you must meet the following requirements**
- Driver’s license and own reliable transport
- Able to pass a drug, alcohol, and physical assessment
- Have the Q Fever vaccination or be willing to get the vaccination
- Must be double vaccinated for COVID
- Reliable and trustworthy
- Unlimited working rights in Australia

**Job Type**: Casual

**Salary**: $26.73 - $32.05 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Morning shift
- Overtime

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Gundagai, NSW: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Manufacturing: 1 year (preferred)
- Food processing: 1 year (preferred)
- Manual handling: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driver Licence (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)
