We are currently seeking reliable and hardworking individuals to join our cleaning & sanitation team at a meat processing facility (abattoir) located in Gundagai, NSW. **Key Responsibilities**: - Perform thorough cleaning of the processing facility, including equipment and surfaces. - Handle and clean areas with animal by-products such as fat, blood, and proteins. - Use approved chemicals for hygiene and sanitation in line with safety protocols. - Operate pressure hoses and cleaning equipment for extended periods. - Follow established cleaning procedures and safety standards. **About the Role**: - **Immediate Start**: - Night Shift: 6:00 PM - 2:00 AM (Monday to Friday **if/ when required**) - Physically demanding duties including - lifting, bending, kneeling, and standing for long periods. - Paid under the Cleaning Services Award "MA000022" - Pay rate - $40.07 per hr **What We’re Looking For**: - Individuals who are not sensitive to strong sights or smells. - Ability to work safely with chemicals and follow detailed instructions. - Must have or be willing to obtain a Q-Fever vaccination.
