**Your new role**
- Collaborate with project stakeholders, including business analysts and developers, to gather and understand system requirements.
- Design and develop test cases, test scripts, and test scenarios based on project specifications and requirements.
- Execute functional, integration, and regression tests to ensure systems meet quality standards and functional requirements.
- Identify, log, and track defects, working closely with the development team to resolve issues and retest fixes.
- Conduct data validation and reconciliation to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
- Develop and maintain test documentation, including test plans, test scripts, and test reports.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to provide regular updates on test progress, issues, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Participate in test planning, estimation, and scheduling activities.
- Stay updated on industry best practices, emerging trends, and advancements in testing methodologies.

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Test Analyst or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of testing methodologies, including creating test plans, test scripts, and test cases.
- Experience with manual and automated testing techniques and tools.
- Knowledge of defect management processes and test management tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to learn and adapt quickly to different systems and technologies.
- Ability to work independently, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
