We’re seeking an enthusiastic Senior Business and Systems Analyst to play a key role in the Community Investment Project Management (CIPM) Solution Project – an initiative set to transform how Homes Tasmania plans, manages and reports on capital investment activity. This phased program is creating a scalable, fit-for-purpose solution that strengthens data quality, reduces manual effort, and builds confidence in decision-making while establishing a consistent foundation for transparent reporting across the organisation. In this role you’ll work closely with the Project Manager, fellow analysts, business units, vendors and stakeholders to deliver business-driven technology change. You’ll support the implementation of innovative digital solutions that improve Homes Tasmania’s operating environment and enable more effective oversight and integration of future projects. This is an exciting opportunity to combine systems expertise, strong analysis and collaboration to help shape the way Homes Tasmania delivers its important work for the community.

About the Role

Period of employment / Hours:
Fixed term full-time day work (part-time hours may be considered by negotiation) commencing ASAP for a period of 24 months.

Duties
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead business and systems analysis, including process review and redesign.
- Collaborate across teams to deliver technology projects and initiatives.
- Document requirements, manage testing and training, and support deployment.
- Apply project and change management methodologies.
- Assist the Project Manager and contribute to broader ITMS priorities.
Skills and experience
Selection criteria includes:
- Demonstrated extensive experience in business and systems analysis, re-engineering, and process mapping in supporting implementation of new, or enhancing existing, technologies.
- Demonstrated project management and change management skills to support the development and implementation of business applications and tools to achieve business outcomes.
- Highly developed oral communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to liaise, negotiate and problem solve with business units, stakeholders, and vendors.

- Relevant industry experience in the conduct of business and systems-based analysis, delivery of technology-based change and/or implementation of new technologies.
- Current certifications in business analysis, project management or change management.
- Current Tasmanian Working with Vulnerable People (child related activity) Registration.
- Ability to satisfy pre-employment checks including:
